Puyallup Real Estate Now

The Real Estate market is not as bleek as some would have you believe.

The interest rates are still very good. Homes are still going up in value. True, not as fast as 2003-2004. But is home ownership still a good idea?? I say yes it is a great idea!! Keep in mind there are some rules. You can’t buy a house today and sell tomorrow and expect to make money. Homes now stay on the market an average of 80 days.

Here are some facts about homes in our area:

Year to Date…April 2006 vs April 2007 Pierce County

A couple spots in Pierce County sold more homes than last year.

The majority sold quite a bit less.

The figures County wide…..are 21% less homes sold this year vs last year.

4499 homes sold in 2006 ytd

3562 homes sold in 2007 ytd

The average home price, however, went up an average of 10% this year.

Average price in 2006 ytd….$292,020

Average price in 2007 ytd….$322,070

So the good news is if you have a home….keep it for a while, it’ll make you money.

If you don’t have a home……while the market’s this way, Buy a home!

You are what You Think About!!

 

I watched a movie this weekend.

It was “The Secret”. You’ve got to see it!!

It’s not a new idea. People have been talking and writing about this for a long time…. Henry Ford, Albert Sweitzer, Denis Waitley, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Martin Luther King, the list goes on.

The premise is that you can make your life the way you want it! Do you want more money? Think it, see it, most of all believe it! Do you want the love of your life? See that person coming into your life. Accept that it’s inevitable for that person to show up. Write it, dream it, see it.

Can you see the logic here? See it happening and IT WILL!!!

I have used this idea to some extent myself and it works like a charm!!! Now I’m going to take it further and make more things happen.
