Puyallup Road Work Affects Shaw Road Commuters

Pierce County has a great project they are working on. Military Road at 136th Street E., then turn onto 122nd Ave. E. There’s a lot of traffic mess there. Always has been. The more homes they build, the more cars want to go that way. Well, the traffic is now going to be routed through the field(that used to be there), then up to 136th. I wonder who owned that Real Estate that the County bought to put the road in??
Now it will be a traffic light, 4 way intersection. 136th and 122nd. I believe it will make it a lot better, easier, faster for commuters.
I wonder if they could also put a light at Reservoir Road and Military Road?? Would that make it even better??
I invite any comments….Is there a better way???

I thought they were putting in a light @ both interections. The majority of the back up is on Military between Reservior and Shaw. It only makes sense to put in 2 lights. Have a great Day!

I think you’re right. But, at the same time the more new homes they build, the more real estate is sold, the more traffic lights, the more cars get backed up. Sometimes you wonder: what’s the best way???
