Christmas Lights up in Puyallup

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

Christmas lights up in my neighborhood.

It’s about time we started putting up our Christmas lights. I see someone has already beaten me to the punch. It looks great too!

With all the homes for sale around our area, it’s a wonder there are so many homes with Christmas lights up already!!

Korum Ford in Puyallup and the Purple Heart Mustang

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

Korum Ford Purple Heart Mustang, shown here by Greg Becker.

Greg Becker, the marketing Director for Korum Automotive Group, tells me that Jerry Korum is going to give this Special Purple Heart Mustang to a Purple Heart Recipient, in a drawing, next fall at the Puyallup Fair.

To be in the drawing, there are a few rules. The first rule of course, you have to be a recipient of a purple heart award….injured in action.

For the rest of the rules and to find out how to get into the drawing for this beautiful car…you should email Greg Becker at Korum Ford, or me, Dennis Endres at Keller Williams Realty.

Greg’s email:                 gbecker@korum.com

Dennis’ email:               Dennis@DennisEndres.com

We all appreciate our veterans!

I’ve known Jerry Korum for quite a few years. He is a very generous man. Here is just another way Jerry will show us. He is always ready to help the community. I know a lot of people would love to have this gorgeous car. But, the person who gets this car has been wounded in action. Fighting for our country. Fighting for our freedom.

If you know someone deserving of this car, please have them find Greg or Dennis to get more information.

Puyallup Mom Packing Christmas Presents at Top Foods

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

Vicky Mohler and her band of recruits package gift and donations for troops.

Vicky and some of her recruits on Saturday at Top Foods, South Hill Puyallup.

Vicky Mohler and a band of recruits were stuffing, packing and labeling Christmas packages for our overseas troops all day Saturday at the TOP FOODS store on South Hill Puyallup. We got over 300 packages of donated items out the door to the Post Office. I am here to say….I was wondering if Vicky was going to let us go home!! The troops are going to be a little happier to get something for Christmas.  I saw a cameraman from Channel 13 there, so don’t be surprised to see it on TV.

I can’t say when, but Vicky is going to do this again. She will need more help,  more money for Postage and more things to send to our Freedom Fighters.

To find out more about Vicky’s schedule, go to her website and scroll down to the EVENTS calendar. You will find more information there. That web address is:

www.supportamericasarmedforces.com

Vicky is a very busy person so email works just great.

If you just want to email Vicky, her email is:

vicky@mohlermanor.com

I will continue to give you updates, when I can, about what Vicky is up to next!!

For all of you who helped or contributed for the Saturday event…..

Thank you, Dennis Endres

Puyallup Mom Sends Gifts to Troops in Iraq

Posted by dennis endres 1 Comment »

Troops from the present.

Mom and Marine

It started out simple. She just sent her son some cookies, a toothbrush, dental floss, candy bars and such. Her son emailed her back: Can you please send some more? So, she did. His buddies in Iraq wanted to share. So, she sent more. Then an Idea hit her! Maybe if she got some help, she could actually make a big difference. Now it’s called: Support America’s Armed Forces. They are having an event  on November 24th, 10:00-3:00 at Top Foods, South Hill Puyallup. You can find more information about it and how you can help online at:

www.supportamericasarmedforces.com

Click on “Events Calendar”…..

There are a lot of our kids, friends and loved ones in that little corner of the world. Some of us don’t even know exactly where our loved ones are.

Well boys and girls, I’ve been in one of those places. Some days you get mail, but it’s never enough. You miss home. Some days you’re so scared you want to find a bunker and stay in it. When you get anything from home….It’s cherished.

So, the point is: If there is any way you, your friends at work or just somebody you run into……If we can find a way to send a little something to these people. These guardians of our way of life. Let’s show them that we understand the words……Freedom isn’t Free!!

I don’t care if you are for the war or against it. These people are over there protecting us, to keep as many terrorists as possible out of our hometowns!

Say Thank You…….Send them something.

Email Vicky today:     vicky@mohlermanor.com

Tell her you will be glad to help!!

New Puyallup Fire Station

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

I know we all appreciate Firemen and the Paramedics. Some of you have already heard this….There will be a new Fire Station in Puyallup at the corner of 9th St. SW and 31st Ave. SW on South Hill. It’s the now empty lot, kitty corner from the nearly new Bus Stop/Park and Ride. It will be a while before you see Fire Trucks pulling out of there.

The picture above doesn’t show all that much. It was a wonderful piece of real estate, until the corner got too busy. But this is the view now, and for a while.

The Paramedics have only come to my house once. It seemed like they took forever. I know it was only a few minutes. Thank you for being there for me!!!

When you are afraid for your life, a minute is a long time.

You know me and my moral of the story….This time it’s: When they ask you if they can raise your taxes for more cops and fireman/paramedics….SAY YES!!!!

The life they save may be yours.

Gas Prices in Puyallup

Posted by dennis endres 4 Comments »

We’ve been there before! Gas prices have been climbing lately. Even at Costco it’s over $3.00 per gallon. As you can see, down the street, it’s even more. So, your question is, where is it going to stop this time?? Now I wish my kids had not broken my crystal ball. I have read in the paper they believe it could hit $4.00. It all makes me wish I had bought that electric car a few years ago. Apparantly, the Light Rail Bill did not pass, so we’re stuck on the freeways for a few years yet. I guess we suck it up and pay the piper.

I’ve heard there is such a thing as Ride Sharing!! Too bad no one wants to ride with me!

This is your friendly Realtor, Dennis Endres, trying to find an answer.

Anybody got any ideas???

Puyallup Drivers: Be careful, so your wheels point Down!

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

Warning to Puyallup and all  Drivers…be careful of your load. Be it small or be it large, practise safe driving or you may end up wrong side down! Fall/Winter is upon us and the rains are coming. Word has it this winter is going to be a hard winter.  So…the moral of the story??? Take it slow, The wheels on your vehicle are not supposed to be pointing UP!!  A lot of us grew up here in Washington. Why is it so hard to get used to wet roads?

Anyone have any tips???
