Gas Prices in Puyallup

We’ve been there before! Gas prices have been climbing lately. Even at Costco it’s over $3.00 per gallon. As you can see, down the street, it’s even more. So, your question is, where is it going to stop this time?? Now I wish my kids had not broken my crystal ball. I have read in the paper they believe it could hit $4.00. It all makes me wish I had bought that electric car a few years ago. Apparantly, the Light Rail Bill did not pass, so we’re stuck on the freeways for a few years yet. I guess we suck it up and pay the piper.
I’ve heard there is such a thing as Ride Sharing!! Too bad no one wants to ride with me!
This is your friendly Realtor, Dennis Endres, trying to find an answer.
Anybody got any ideas???

I’d say ride your bike, but with the weather here and the frequency of having clients with you, that’s not a good option. I still drive a gas guzzler, having figured that with the mileage I drive, the difference between my truck and a car that gets 25MPG, I’m paying about $60 a month more. Manageable for the features I need in the truck.
I think it’s funny when I get criticized at the pump by people in cars that are more fuel efficient, but clearly worse on emmissions. My truck may use a lot of fuel, which isn’t ideal, but it runs very clean; much cleaner than many efficient cars.
As soon as an affordable, fuel efficient, truck is made, I’m in.

Good point about being criticized. I think the only ones that that should get away with it, are people on bikes. So…where do I put my grandsons??

Prices are about 20cents a gallon higher than they are in Minnesota. One solution I came up with is to use less gasoline. I may be the only realtor in the metro area that does not own an SUV.
