Pictures of the Pioneer Park Pavilion in Downtown Puyallup
I just got an announcement from the Public Affairs Office, City of Puyallup.
The Community program observing Veterans Day in Puyallup will be held on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Pioneer Park Pavillion, 330 S. Meridian Street.
This years featured speakers include COL Harry D. Tunnel, Commander of the 5th Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Stryker Brigade Combat Team–Puyallup’s Ft. Lewis Community Connector. Other speakers include Vicky Mohler, founder of Support Americas’s Armed Forces and Puyallup Councilmember Kathy Turner, who will also serve as the program’s emcee.
Musical selections will be provided by Liza Brown, the 2007-2008 Puyallup Idol; the Valley Choral Singers, the Spirit of Sound Singers and the Clan Gordon Bagpipe band. There will be displays of antique military vehicles, Stryker vehicles and local art.
The event is free and open to all.
I encourage anyone that has an interest in supporting our veterans to attend.
There are a lot of our friends, neighbors, children, family members in a far away land. Some of them are dying………..for WHAT you ask???
Most of them believe as I do: The Price of Freedom is not Free!

Views from Sunrise Condos For Sale in Sunrise
There is a community on South Hill, Puyallup growing fast. It has been for quite a while now. I’ve taken some pictures of several homes in Sunrise to show you: small homes, medium size homes and even a very large home with spectacular views. The point I’m coming to is…. it’s a community for everyone. Lots of choices here. Especially given this market, where there are lots of sellers and only a few buyers. Home buyers right now are a little bit revered and they can strike a pretty nice bargain. All they need is a Great Realtor to work with to find the right home, and a Great lender who will help them find the right loan.
I’ve said this before: If you don’t own your own home….NOW is the time!! This market is going to go away soon.
Of course….That’s just some people’s opinion.

I took some pictures this week during my travels about our fair city of Puyallup and South Hill Puyallup. Not too much discussion. I just wanted to point out the beauty to everyone. Look around when you have a minute. Even though it may rain, it’s a great time of year.

Average Sale Price: $375,418, up 9%
Median Sale Price: $331,510, up 10%
1660 sold vs.2981 last year, off 44%; volume off 39% to $623 million
All Sales…year to date 2007
For all sales…. average residence price: $311,197 up 6%
The numbers seem to say that new homes are still driving the price.
