Getting Mortgage Loan Promises/Ads in the Mail???

Posted by dennis endres

I  am reading an article by Rhonda Porter. Rhonda writes a Mortgage blog. You can find her on the “Citizen Rain” blog. She writes under “The Mortgage Porter”.

She is saying the same thing I have been saying……don’t call someone out of the blue to give you a loan.

Thanks, Dennis. I’m always amazed when I have consumers calling me and asking about stuff they receive in the mail. It makes me wonder how many don’t call and actually either believe the piece is from our company and proceed with the mortgage solicitor or they believe the promises made in the mail. The same is also true for many radio and TV ads.

Exactly! Even at my home we get junk that says “Refi your FHA loan for Ridiculouly low prices…You can get $2000-$3000 back”. I haven’t had that FHA loan for at least 6 years. We have a great little shredder for these guys.
