Kids, Grandkids, Ham and eggs…oh yeah, Chocolate bunnies!!

Easter Sunday rainbow. No, we couldn’t find the pot of Gold at the end of the rainbow!!
We spent some time at my daughter’s home, downtown Puyallup, this Sunday. Kids, grandkids, Ham, eggs, chocolate, playing games, playing with my grandson’s lizard. What a day!
The storm came in and really rained. But, who cares? We were busy playing and eating. Laughing at the dog, too afraid to go out in the rain.
Thank you for Easter. It was wonderful!!!
This is from Dennis Endres and the dog who wouldn’t go out in the rain.

I saw an article from the Wall Street Journal edition, by Shelly Banjo. They make a lot of sense.
It’s a buyers market, so look with a buyer’s agent.
Real Estate is local.
Getting a loan isn’t as easy as it was.
Look around at homes for sale near where you want to live.
Look online, compare homes/prices, before you go driving.
Talk to a Realtor, talk to a lender…..before you jump in!
Any questions that I can help with, just Call!!!!

Puyallup, snow, slippery, melting, survival kit??

Mt Rainier, snowy, menacing, slippery, eruption, survival kit???

Cascade Mountains, lots of ice, snow, possible pass closure, survival kit???
See what mean?? We could still have any one of a 100 issues why we might want a survival kit with us.
In Case of Emergency………
I found this Survival checklist. Maybe winter is not too far distant. We should still be prepared for winter, disaster, or just a car wreck. Does this make sense???
Here are some ideas of items to consider putting in your car:
Local maps, Food, Water, Duct tape, Hand sanitizer, TP, Garbage bags, Blankets, Cellphone Car Charger, Jacket, First aid kit, Rope, Flares, Jumper cables, Fire Extinguisher, Tools, Tarp, Flashlight, candles, stick matches(maybe waterproof) and last thing I can think of at the moment..hand crank radio.
If anybody can think of more things I can add, Call or Email me, Dennis Endres at Keller Williams Realty. 253 683-3100

It appears that almost anything to do with statistics and Real Estate these days is down! However, I am getting a lot more phone calls from people who have been listening to me. The word is: Prices are down!! Should I buy a home???? Most of you already know the answer to this! The correct answer is “Heck Yes”!!!
If there is a specific figure you are interested in, I can get it for you. Just call me anytime, Dennis Endres at Keller Williams Realty, 253 683-100.

Open Houses this weekend are a little meager. There are only three advertised in the NWMLS computer as being open.
3122 26th Ave. SE 3bd/2.25ba $329,950 Saturday 1:00-4:00
1822 22nd Ave. SE 3bd/2ba $295,000 Saturday 12:00-3:00
7820 128th St. E. 4bd/3ba $419,950 Saturday 12:00-2:30
Two aren’t too far from each other, maybe you could look at both, check out the third home, then call your favorite Realtor, me, Dennis Endres at Keller Williams Realty, 253 683-3100.
There are still some very good deals out there if you have an idea that you want to invest in some Real Estate. Yes, the market is down….but that’s the time to buy a home.
Good luck out there.

The Shaw Road shortcut to East Main is coming along nicely. For a lot of us, it will be none too soon. When I say…I am looking forward to it…you know what I mean!!
I have some new pictures of the construction going on. The work is progressing. You can see that they are making headway.

This was taken from the Pioneer Side of the Shortcut to East Main, Downtown Puyallup.

If you have been following this site, you know I was up in the San Juan Islands, recently, kayaking. I found a few more pictures that you might enjoy……

Yes, it’s me. Too far from shore to be afraid now!

This is Susie, the Camel, looking for an apple in one of my pockets. I should buy her one.

Susie wanders her pasture, saying hello to all who stop.

You can see for quite aways from up here, atop Mt Young.
It is a great hike up the hill. For some of us out of shape people, plan to stop a couple times to breathe!! Yes, I stopped to huff and puff.

We took a short trip to Ellensburg the other day. On a whim, one of my clients wanted to take a look at some property up on the hill outside of Ellensburg. It is prime Real Estate for someone who enjoys outdoors, cold in the winter, hot in the summer.
We noticed this pickup ready for winter sports………

The owner of this rig is definitely thinking more snow this winter!!!!

I just talked to a friend in Ellensburg, it’s snowing again. Don’t put your chains away yet!
