This weekend, I was out with real estate clients showing them homes that they have interest in buying. I came around the corner and saw the Mountain. I thought I would share this view with you. Mt Rainier usually impresses me….so if you see repeat pictures, that is why.
So, enjoy the mountain………

Mt Rainier looks a little ominous with all the clouds around it.

Tacoma Rainiers Baseball, Photograph by Ken Lund and Flickr.
We went last year to the Tacoma Rainiers games. Keller Williams Realty, here in Puyallup, got together and had a bleacher party. We had our own grill, lots of sodas and a good time had by all. An added bonus, we got all this and watched real baseball, all afternoon! See…. We don’t just sell homes and real estate all the time. Sometimes we like to have some fun too!!
Next weekend the Tacoma Rainiers are having a Pre-Season Party. It’s March 15th from 11:00-2:00PM at Cheney Stadium. You can buy hats, shirts, VIP memberships, or just scout out where you want your seat to be!!!
There is going to be FREE hot dogs and sodas.
There will be Face painters and activities for the kids.
There is more, more, more at the Rainiers website….Click Here!!!

I should be having more Real Estate news and information about homes, here on this site. What they are selling for, why buyers are not buying in droves! But, It’s always more fun to take pictures downtown when I see something in front of me. The market is better in the last few months. There are more homes selling now…..
I just couldn’t resist taking some pictures today. It’s not that there is so much Sun!!
It’s that I can actually see Mt Rainier. It doesn’t happen that often in the winter/spring. So, enjoy it while we can!

Mt Rainier, taken today from Downtown Puyallup.

Pretty soon, this whole Flower field is going to be yellow, Downtown Puyallup.

I know this picture is not about the IRS, but I was just thinking about Scuba Diving today. This helps!
It seems the criminal mind goes into overdrive sometimes. If they were as creative with a legal way to make money, they would probably make even more!!
The IRS has a website with a lot of information, new laws, tax tips, warnings about new scams and old scams as well.
For those of us who have property to lose, maybe even money in our checkbook, a home we cannot afford to give to some crook……………
This website is one you should check out…Click Here!!!
If it saves you a lot of money…..Call Me, Dennis Endres! I can help you spend it!
Vacations, Diving, A trip to Fiji, maybe even buy a new home.

Trick question: This is Mt Rainier, but was the photo taken on Daylight Saving Time or was it taken on Pacific Standard Time???
It’s that time again, Sunday morning at 2 AM, March 9th, 2008, set your clocks ahead by one hour.
Well, I guess you are right, Daylight Saving Time begins almost everywhere….But the most important place to us in the Greater Puyallup area. This phenomenon has made me wonder for a long time….. Why is it, that if we change the clock, it confuses the Sun and we get more(or less) sunshine??
How can farmers have more time in the fields, now that we are here and we are smarter than the sun?
When and where did all this creativity begin? Was it last year? I seem to remember it when I was a child…..I know what you are thinking! It was not that long ago. It was only last Century. Well, maybe it was that long ago. After all, I can say, my Real Estate career is spanning 2 centuries. Not that I am that old. I plan to have my 42nd birthday next week, again!
Some of you already know this, but Benjamin Franklin thought up the idea of Daylight Saving Time. Some think that he was just kidding around. Someone else, apparently, took him literally. Now, every thinks it has be be a good thing, because it’s been around so long??
For some more information about Daylight Saving Time, Click Here!!!
Thanks for tuning in for another (educational??) experience. This is you local Realtor, Dennis Endres, signing off.

I have some more pictures from Puyallup and of the story about Ezra Meeker. He came to this area in the early 1900’s looking for some land to farm. Who knew that Real Estate would become this important to us all?

This might be what Mt. Rainier looked like when Ezra Meeker arrived in Puyallup.

Do you think, in Ezra’s wildest dreams, he could have imagined this view?

It is common to name schools after UNcommon men, such as Ezra Meeker.

Wow! Even a street named after the man, Ezra Meeker. Someone thought this man important enough to have his name all over town.
I have more….but, I will save some for later. This farmer, Ezra Meeker made a pretty wide swath in our end of the Valley.
I am happy and proud to live where he walked, toiled, farmed, lived and grew his crops and children…..Puyallup.
Thank you all for listening, Dennis Endres.
If anyone has something to share about this subject, please send it in!
