Day Trip, Puyallup to Long Beach, Washington

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

Long Beach, Washington, looking North.

Long Beach, looking south. I guess it is really a long beach. They say it’s 18 miles long.

I went to Long Beach the other day to teach a class to a group of Realtors. It was a great trip. I will have some more pictures another day.

I love going to the Ocean…actually any ocean. It was nice, a little soggy on one day. But we all have been seeing that all winter, huh? The Realtors there are very knowledgeable and the market there is a little depressed. Maybe we should all buy a summer home in Long Beach. I know several Realtors that would be great Buyer’s Agents, there.

This is Dennis Endres at KW Puyallup, just sharing….

I Love Mt Rainier!!

Mt Rainier from the Puyallup Valley.

I took a listing in the Puyallup Valley the other day. The Mountain was out in full splendor. I couldn’t help myself. I had to take a picture across the fields, to show you an evening picture of our mountain. Aren’t we lucky to live here??

Some people are a little cynical about the mountain, that it may blow. These are probably the same people who are concerned about what ever the media tells them to worry about!!!

I for one go along with Khalil Gibran. He talked about joy and sorrow in his book “The Prophet.” He said you cannot have one without the other. Without sorrow, you won’t know what joy is.

Let’s enjoy here and now.  Tomorrow always comes soon enough.

Seattle Troll

Seattle Troll Guards the Aurora Bridge from Billy Goat Gruff.   Ever vigilant, as he prepares to munch on a Volkswagon Beetle.

I was driving through Wallingford district the other night after I finished showing a property to a buyer. I thought I would drive by the Troll to say hi!!

For those of us who have lived in Seattle, most of us have frequented the Troll over and over again. He just stays right under the Aurora Bridge and keeps the Billy Goat Gruff on his toes. None of us ever liked Billy much anyway. If you have never dropped by to see the Troll….stop in some time. But be careful, he is HUGE and very intimidating.

If you don’t know where to look….Call me, your favorite Realtor/Associate Broker at Keller Williams Realty in Puyallup. 253 683-3100. I will give you directions. If you can find the Aurora Bridge, you won’t be too far away. He hides at the end of Troll Ave.
