Some of our troops come home from the war.

Some of our veterans come home, but they are not in too good shape.

Some of our veterans came home, but…….well you know!!!
This is a great day to pay tribute to those who have or are serving in the Armed Forces. Take a minute to say thank you. After all, a lot of them are not here with us today, because they gave their life for their country. I am not saying all wars are right or wrong. I am saying….. those people who have offered to go fight for our beliefs and our way of life…..deserve our respect and at least a thank you.
For more information or to get a little involved with veterans…..Click Here!!!!
You can also Call or email me, Dennis Endres…..at Dennis@DennisEndres.com
Or, you can email Vicky, founder of Support America’s Armed Forces(SAAF)………..at vicky@mohlermanor.com
Let me leave you with a thought. None of us like wars or even hearing about them. There have been a few wars that have changed history. A couple of them were a pretty big deal. If we had not been such an overpowering force….we could be speaking another language. Our country would not be named “The United States of America”.
In closing…If you like your Freedom…….Thank a Vet!!

As you can tell by the picture, I was with a lot of kayakers on Sunday.

A good photo tells a story. Lots of people, lots of kayaks and a good amount of sun.

This picture is to the left of picture above. Kayaks, people, sun and water.
I had a chance to go the the Sea Kayaking Symposium this last weekend. It was awesome. I got to try out some different Kayaks. I took several kayaks for a spin around the sound. Short spin actually. Some didn’t fit me as well as others.
They had short ones, long ones, narrow ones and wide ones. I fit into the wide and fairly long type. I am not an experienced kayaker, so I need more stability. I found some that were pretty stable, at least for me. We met a lot of different people and all different styles of kayaking.
If anyone has any ideas or things that I should consider about this sport, I would appreciate a comment or email from you. I have not bought anything as yet. I want to try a few before I get in too deep. We met a few people who do trips, but I don’t know enough to say I want to take a very long trip.
This is Dennis Endres, your local friendly Realtor/Associate Broker at Keller Williams, asking for a little information from someone who can give me more options.
The little bit of kayaking I have done is so much fun, it makes me want more!!!!

These Labs don’t wait for the throw, they just run!!

They sometimes get there before the ball hits the ground.
I came home the other night to find one of my neighbors playing catch with his dogs. Beautiful Labs. I love to watch them run after the tennis ball. He has one of those nifty little throwing gadgets. I think it keeps some of the saliva off his hand as well. If you have ever had a Lab, you know they like nothing better than to slobber you.
My Lab(Katy) was real cute about it. She would walk up, expecting to get petted. If I ignored her, she would get a drink out of her dish, then eat some food from her other dish. When she had a good sloppy mouthful, she would walk over and lick my hand, pantleg or whatever she could reach to slime me. Cute, huh???
If anyone has any good ideas or pet pictures that I can write a story about……send it into me. You can find my phone or email at the top of this page. Thanks, Dennis Endres

I have some more pictures of art to share you. I know sometimes it’s tough to wander downtown Puyallup, just to look at art. We all get busy and our lives get in the way. For those of you who have no time……I offer some art photos that I have not shown you yet.
Enjoy!!!

Picture of art in the park. Next to the library, Downtown Puyallup.

This picture of Art in the Park confuses me. I like the photo, but I don’t get it!

Yes, Virginia, there are woman heroes too. It’s just that they usually don’t get recognized. Yes, I know it’s wrong.
The Hero, we are talking about here is….PFC Monica Brown, who ran through gunfire, saved lives of her comrades, all the while putting her own life at risk.
I did a tour in Viet Nam. I know what putting your life at risk means.
Man or Woman…….doing what she did makes her a HERO in my book.
I apologize for not having her picture here. However, The News Tribune in Tacoma has printed a Photo.
I encourage you to go read the whole article…….Just Click Here!!!

Photo of home in Puyallup. I don’t take too bad picture for a Realtor, huh??
It probably is about a wash…budgeting, that is. The usual rule when buying, is between 30-40% of your income should be allocated to your house payment. Some lenders will vary. Some loans will vary. For Instance, some VA buyers with no bills can get approved for about 1/2 of their income towards the house payment.
Rents, apparently, should be in the same area. 30% or there abouts, of your income towards your rent payment.
Some Realtors will argue that there is no good reason to rent. I, on the other hand, say there are good reasons to rent. What if you don’t know where you want to buy? How about if your fiance has a different idea? How about if you just don’t want to commit yet to buying Real Estate??
I think all of the above are great reasons to rent.
Now if you think it might be time to buy….if you have been reading my blog and agree with me there are some terrific buys out there for the person who wants to own their own home. I say go look at some homes for sale. Look at some Open Houses.
Be careful, pick an area and look at some homes……Then Call Me!!

If you can picture a home for sale. Take a photo in your mind. Do you want it bad enough to get preapproved with your lender???
I know you have heard me say this before, but now…I hear other people saying it too!! When you think you want to buy a home, talk to your lender or my lender and let’s get you PREAPPROVED for a loan. The rules have changed quite a bit. You need to have pretty good credit to get almost any loan.
I know….it should be easier to buy a home with so many homes for sale. The banks don’t care how many are for sale. They have to make good judgement calls before they give you a Real Estate Loan.
Having a preapproval letter before we go show you a home or buy a home, gives you, the buyer, a lot of power. The seller then knows that you’re serious and that you can probably buy his home.
