These statistics are going to be no big surprise to anyone. They mostly represent the same things we have been seeing. Here they are…..

Just Remember, the statistics mean prices are down!! You buy when prices are down!!

 Year-to-Date May 2008

          All Sales (vs. Year to date 2007)

                 Residential Sales Volume:  off 47%

                 Residential transactions:  off 13%

                 Mobile home sales on land:  off 67%

                 Plexes(2-5 units) Sales:  off 50%

                 Land Sales: decreased 70%

                AVERAGE RESIDENCE:   $296,600 off 4%

Existing home transactions sold up 1% in May 2008 from April 2008.

The good news is: we are way better off than a lot of other places!!
