Puyallup Health and The Shingles Outbreak
One of my friends has Shingles. Apparently anyone can get it, but if you had Chicken Pox as a child…you have an even better chance of getting it as an older person. The statitics are 1 in 5 people will get it. My friend says you do not want to have this. It is very painful and very contagious to those around you.
There is a vaccine out now and easy to take. Do yourself a favor and at least call your medical practioner and ask the question!!!!! Do I need this vaccine????
I am not saying everyone go get a shot! Just find out for your peace of mind. I don’t like shots, but I am going to get one….Whatever it takes to not be sick!!
