Cell Phones Need to be Hands Free as of July 1, 2008

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

We have all heard about this law for about a year. It is finally creeping up on us on July 1, 2008. I have been hands free since last June. I thought it was to take effect last year, so I bought a Bluetooth and it works great. I speak to dial. I hang up with my earpiece. It is so easy to use.

This is Dennis Endres, your favorite Realtor in Puyallup Washington, just reminding you of what’s important, when I see it.

Real Estate Market Bad for Some, Good for Others

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

If you watched the news this morning, you saw that someone just up and moved into someone else’s home. Or, at least that’s what she is charged with!

The moral of the story is: Know your neighbors!! Talk to them. Meet their family and the dog. But, be careful until you know who they are…..

If there are any doubts about what I mean, watch this video….Click Here!!!

Picture of the new City Hall in Downtown Puyallup. Across from Pioneer Park.

The picture shows that it is coming along. I haven’t been inside yet. I am starting to get excited to see what it is going to be like.

This is Dennis Endres, your favorite, local Realtor,  bringing you some of the news, some of the time and mostly correct!! Please call me anytime with any questions about the market, buying or selling real estate.

Puyallup Homes: For Sale versus Sold

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

I just thought I would show you a picture of a graph about the Real estate market in our part of the world, here in Puyallup. Statistics right out of the computer at NWMLS.

What this graph is showing is homes listed for sale versus homes sold. The tall blue lines are the homes that are listed for sale…….The purple lines are the homes that sell each month.

You can tell that the listings keep getting more and more. The sales stay about the same or get less.

The brownish line just tells the same story in a different graph.

It may be hard to read, so I will tell you the numbers for Puyallup, May 2008.

Homes For Sale:   2,349

Homes Sold:               88

Simply put……Yes, it is still a buyer’s market.

If you own a home and you have to sell? Call me and we will have to price it RIGHT!   If you don’t have to sell?  DON’T…. wait for a while!

If you don’t own a house……Why Not?       Call me, I know where the homes are hiding in the forest.

Read the statistics. There are a lot of homes out there that may fit your needs. I am your Realtor, Dennis Endres, Keller Williams Realty. I can help you without being a pushy salesperson.

Puyallup and the UPS Trucks

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

Collection site?

I saw this nest of UPS trucks in our Downtown Puyallup Keller Williams Realty parking lot the other day. It just struck me funny. I don’t have a clue what they are doing….but I had to take a picture. Usually they don’t sit still long enough to get a picture. You may have noticed as I have…. You never see a UPS  driver that isn’t fit to run a marathon. They seem to be all young and buff.

But, hey….I get my packages on time…what do I care????

This is Dennis Endres, reporting things the way I see them happening in front of me!!

Puyallup Road Construction

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

Canyon Road goes through….what a concept!!

Hey everyone…..I know some of you saw this before me, but the shortcut from the end of Canyon Road to 200th is open now. I noticed it was nearly done several weeks ago. Yesterday, I was on my way to a client’s home for a listing appointment and I noticed cars going straight through the intersection.  WOW!!!

This should save a lot of commuters some time in their travels to and from Puyallup, home and Tacoma.

Memorial Day in Puyallup and the Purple Heart Mustang

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

I never get tired of seeing this!

Ginger singing at the Memorial Day services.

Picture of some of the wreaths honoring the vets who didn’t come home.

This is the Purple Heart Mustang that The Korum Group is giving away to a Purple Heart Recipient at the Puyallup Fair this fall!!

The Memorial Day services in Puyallup last week were touching to say the least. A young Marine(Ginger) got up and sang. She has been to Iraq more than once serving our country. After the services I told her thank you for being there and fighting the fight.

Do you know what she said to me?? She knew that I served in Viet Nam. She said “No Thank You……..That was a tough time after that war.”

There is a WWII vet that is always at the services. I always go up and shake his hand.

There is a Medal Of Honor recipient that is usually there at the services. He gave me a picture showing him shaking hands with President Kennedy.

The Puyallup Pavillion was pretty full, but I still wish you all could have been there. It makes a person very humble when you think about all the people who have given their lives for our country. To make our nation safe is a pretty awesome task.

I will say this again: If you like FREEDOM and living in America……When you see someone in uniform, walk up and tell them Thank You!!

Posted by dennis endres No Comments »

Art in the park.

Art in the park, next to De Caterina’s.

My favorite cat….doesn’t jump on me or shed hair or doesn’t wake me with face kisses.

This one reminds me of a child watching the parade.

I felt the need to share with you.

I have noticed some new art pieces Downtown Puyallup lately. For those of you travel the streets downtown, you have probably already seen them.  The pictures I present to you, here now, are mainly for those too busy to notice on their way to work.
