Directions to the Emergency Room.
This picture shows the hole where the new Patient Care Tower is going to begin.
Access to Good Samaritan Hospital will be forever changed. 14th Ave. SE, between 4th and 5th St SE will be closed to make room for the new $400 million Patient Care Tower. Access to the Emergency Room will be re-routed through 15th Ave. SE and go north on 5th St. SE.
I guess this means get used to it folks. If you haven’t been by there…..you need to go take a look. WOW!! What a deep hole they need to have to spend $400 million. Sure looks like it’s going to be nice, though.

I have met Sherri, Kierans wife. She is very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Now, I have not met Kieran yet. I have talked with a guy on the phone who claims to be Kieran. If he is Kieran, Sherri refuses to let him out of his office. I suspect she locks him in with only coffee, preztels and brownies to keep him at his work…….. which is: www.Kieranslist.com

This is Ed, the owner of Destination Harley Davidson in Fife. Helping put this together! Take a trip and buy a bike from Ed….tell him Dennis says hey!!
This is just some of the bikes that were in the “Ride for the Troops” this Sunday. There are lots more around the corner.
I am sorry I didn’t get to see you all at Destination Harley Davidson in Fife on Sunday. The Harley dealership there was so helpful. There was lots to eat and people everywhere. I couldn’t count them all, but there must have been at least 500 bikes there for the Rally Ride for the Troops. They raised a lot of money and I’m sure….a lot of eyebrows on the freeway.
Some of the riders looked like what you would imagine in the old days……some looked like you and me. I talked with a couple that were retired, a school principal, an Air Force officer and more. It’s always impressive to see people out and doing “whatever it takes” to support our Troops.

I have been walking more lately. I have a couple(LOL) pounds to lose. Now that summer is finally here, my goal is to walk quite a bit. I get a chance to see people, talk to others, check out people with all kinds of pets….big and small.
I went to Bradley Park recently and found it a nice walk. It’s about a mile around and mostly level so I don’t have to huff and puff.
The plus side for some of you……..you can meet some interesting people, as you can tell from the above pictures.

Multicare Health System and the YMCA of Tacoma-Pierce County formed a partnership in 2005 to improve the health and well-being of the Community.
They have a program to help people get healthy, lose weight and have regular health assessments.
The biggest winner this year lost 46 pounds for the 14 week program.

I just heard the latest scoop on the City Hall opening.
The latest projection is they want to move in on August 1.
There is, about the same time, a big celebration going on for 08/08/08.
The celebration is for downtown Puyallup. I will tell you more about it as I learn more.

Ikea, in south Puyallup/Frederickson. Lots of trailers and more around the corner.
The Ikea distribution Center in our beloved Puyallup appears to be working just fine. I drove by the other day and saw too many trailers parked there to count. The tall chain link fence is up and looks like they don’t want us as company. I guess I understand no tours.
