Back in the day, Farmers worked here, lived here.
This picture is just one of the examples of why we love living in Puyallup. Not just because it’s a great place to live, not because it’s cheaper to buy a home in Puyallup, not even because cars are cheaper in Puyallup.
For me, it’s the quality here. It’s because when you catch someone’s eye and smile, they smile back. It’s because when you are pulling out of Starbucks on to a crowded busy street, someone will let you in. Because it’s written in the city code….You have to like people to live here(sometimes we wish)!!!
I found this painted art on the side of a business building downtown.
There is a lot of art around downtown. I will be bringing you more art as time goes on.
When you travel the city and you notice the art….on a building, standing on a corner, or in the park……..take a minute and reflect. Someone made this art for you and me to see!!!
I am just a country boy, turned Realtor….but this my town.
Thanks for listening,
Dennis Endres

My friend just wrote an article on how cool it is to try Tacoma Boys. Any time of day or night. Wander in, pickup a snack or a tray of veggies, meat, flowers….I think they have it all! Puyallup has a store on the corner of 112th St. E. and 94th Ave. E.
Try it….You’ll like it!

After several meetings to whittle the 19 applicants down to 16, then down to 8 and finally down to the one last night….the Puyallup City Council appointed Rick Hansen to the vacant District 2 position. Mr. Hansen is a Puyallup business owner and consultant who has served on the City Council before.
When it was over he said, “I’m simply excited to be part of a team”.
Congratulations Mr. Hansen!!

Korum Ford Purple Heart Mustang, shown here by Greg Becker.
Greg Becker, the marketing Director for Korum Automotive Group, tells me that Jerry Korum is going to give this Special Purple Heart Mustang to a Purple Heart Recipient, in a drawing, next fall at the Puyallup Fair.
To be in the drawing, there are a few rules. The first rule of course, you have to be a recipient of a purple heart award….injured in action.
For the rest of the rules and to find out how to get into the drawing for this beautiful car…you should email Greg Becker at Korum Ford, or me, Dennis Endres at Keller Williams Realty.
Greg’s email: gbecker@korum.com
Dennis’ email: Dennis@DennisEndres.com
We all appreciate our veterans!
I’ve known Jerry Korum for quite a few years. He is a very generous man. Here is just another way Jerry will show us. He is always ready to help the community. I know a lot of people would love to have this gorgeous car. But, the person who gets this car has been wounded in action. Fighting for our country. Fighting for our freedom.
If you know someone deserving of this car, please have them find Greg or Dennis to get more information.

Vicky Mohler and her band of recruits package gift and donations for troops.
Vicky and some of her recruits on Saturday at Top Foods, South Hill Puyallup.
Vicky Mohler and a band of recruits were stuffing, packing and labeling Christmas packages for our overseas troops all day Saturday at the TOP FOODS store on South Hill Puyallup. We got over 300 packages of donated items out the door to the Post Office. I am here to say….I was wondering if Vicky was going to let us go home!! The troops are going to be a little happier to get something for Christmas. I saw a cameraman from Channel 13 there, so don’t be surprised to see it on TV.
I can’t say when, but Vicky is going to do this again. She will need more help, more money for Postage and more things to send to our Freedom Fighters.
To find out more about Vicky’s schedule, go to her website and scroll down to the EVENTS calendar. You will find more information there. That web address is:
www.supportamericasarmedforces.com
Vicky is a very busy person so email works just great.
If you just want to email Vicky, her email is:
vicky@mohlermanor.com
I will continue to give you updates, when I can, about what Vicky is up to next!!
For all of you who helped or contributed for the Saturday event…..
Thank you, Dennis Endres

We’ve been there before! Gas prices have been climbing lately. Even at Costco it’s over $3.00 per gallon. As you can see, down the street, it’s even more. So, your question is, where is it going to stop this time?? Now I wish my kids had not broken my crystal ball. I have read in the paper they believe it could hit $4.00. It all makes me wish I had bought that electric car a few years ago. Apparantly, the Light Rail Bill did not pass, so we’re stuck on the freeways for a few years yet. I guess we suck it up and pay the piper.
I’ve heard there is such a thing as Ride Sharing!! Too bad no one wants to ride with me!
This is your friendly Realtor, Dennis Endres, trying to find an answer.
Anybody got any ideas???

You may have heard of Andy Barker. Owner of Barker’s Barn and Andy’s Classic Auto Parts at 4715 Pioneer Way E. It’s either Tacoma or Puyallup, Washington, depending on who you ask. Andy and his relatives have owned this piece of real estate for a bunch of years. Now that’s keeping property in the family! So, here’s the story. As I drive by his shop, I see this car. The one pictured above. It looks a little out of the ordinary. It’s got the front of a 47 Plymouth on one end and the front of a 48 Plymouth on the other end.
Too many questions are running through my head….so I have to stop and talk to the owner. I meet this man. His name is “Barker” or “Andy”, whichever. He answers to both.
He tells me about the car. It’s been on TV, in the movies and on Evening Magazine. I got a lot of information in a few minutes. This very pleasant man runs the Classic Auto Parts store.
The moral of the story is: If you can’t find parts for your CLASSIC…..Call Barker!!!
You will usually find him at the store or call him at 253 922-7673.
The store is at 4715 Pioneer Way, Puyallup, Washington.
While you’re there, ask him about his unusual Chevy pickup across the street.
